Comprehensive Writing Experience
As a freelance medical writer and editor, I have experience extending

My previous positions as a medical writer in a pharmaceutical company
and a contract research organization (CRO) gave me a thorough understanding
of the needs and expectations of the pharmaceutical industry, provided
me with experience in writing a wide variety of documents for different
audiences, and taught me the value of customer service.

 Scientific
Assistant in the Department of Medical Affairs at Sanofi (now Sanofi-Aventis),
a major pharmaceutical company. My tasks included preparing journal
manuscripts, posters, medical information monographs and trial
summaries, clinical study reports (phase IV), abbreviated expert
reports, and conference proceedings.
Medical Writer at Parexel International, a contract research organization. My work mostly involved writing and editing clinical study reports (phases I-III), but also periodic safety update reports for marketed drugs.
Strong Scientific Background
My strong pharmacological background, comprising BSc and PhD degrees, enables me to prepare scientifically accurate and clear documents in the minimum amount of time. As a postdoctorate research fellow, I published papers and book chapters, and presented my work at a number of international meetings as abstracts, posters and oral communications.
